Tenants missed rent payment in October and December. They agreed by telephone on 3rd Jan to pay arrears on 24th Jan. I agreed to this and confirmed it in letter I sent them on the 7th Jan. I then received letter from them dated 21st Jan giving 4 weeks notice and that I could use that letter as proof that they would pay all outstanding rent before they vacated property! They then withheld another payment of rent due on 26th Jan. They have ignored my reply requesting payment of these arrears or threatened court action

I am filling in N1 form online as I find it is more straightforward than the actual form itself.

My question is how detailed do I need to be about rent arrears? I have put that they omitted payment in Oct Dec and Jan and that they didnt settle arrears of £1000 when they agreed to and have now withheld another month, also that they have ignored letter requesting settlement of these arrears or threatened court action is this enough? or do I have to include all dates and details of letters etc
