Holiday let, or AST

I have a 3 bedroom town centre flat, which is pretty nice, and fitted out to a high spec. I was just wondering about the type of tenant I should try to appeal to, and the type of tenancy that would work best. I have other houses I rent out to families, but because of the location, and the fact it is a flat and high spec, it might be best suited to professionals.

Also, I'm also thinking it might be worth considering fully furnishing it and renting it out on a more short term basis, say as a holiday let, or corporate accommodation?

Opinions, please!

Hmm whether it will succeed as a holiday let will depend on location I guess, but you haven't provided much detail on that.

My only concern is that you might struggle to fill a 3 bedroom flat to professionals, unless you it's a flat share...

Might be ideal for a professional couple with a child... so a family market.

Location is not picturesque or close to seaside, but it is opposite a big park, with the town on the other side. I suppose it could be a base to get to other places.....I don't particularly want to go down the flat share route, and get bogged down with what does and doesn't constitute an HMO, whether you need a license, regulations etc

Perhaps professionals without children would go for an extra room as an office?
