Hi in December I advised my management company that I wished to increase the rent. I received confirmation, via email, that this would take effect from 4th Feb 2024. I have just received my statement and remittance advice and the rental amount is the old amount. I have had multiple issues with said management company and I suspect they simply neglected to notify the tenant of the increase. Does anyone know where I stand regarding this? Should the management company compensate me for the shortfall caused by their error until the revised rent can be implemented?

Ask the management company for a copy of the emails/letters between them and the tenant regarding the rent increase.
