...on an empty house.

Q on how other people have been doing this?

I've been reading up on horror stories of how photos are rejected because the time/date stap could be manipulated etc etc..

We've always had small things necessary to claim for, but touch wood, nothing overly horrendous.

Obviously the tenant is present on check in/out, and could sign, but printing out photos and getting the tenant to sign seems unrealistic, given the sheer quantity of photos likely to be taken & therefore masses of paper.

And posting pics to 'the cloud' still leaves them open to editing.  Putting a newspaper in a photo has been tried (and rejected, since, (1) there is still a small time gap, and (2) you could use 'old newspapers).

Although I do have a DVD burner, so signing DVDs by the tenant, I suppose is an option.

Or maybe just easier/safer to get an independent adjudicator to do it.  For the sake of £100.

I'd be interested to know how others have managed this?

Thanks as always,

I used to put all the photos on 2 CD Roms and we'd each sign and date the face of both disks along with appropriate text. Thats sadly an out of date option, but there are companies offering online systems that provide that proof of contemporaneous agreement.
