Hi, want to get my tenant out, they complained for a while that 'electrics' were unsafe, without being specific. I knew they had done various things to the house, including ripping out my fitted kitchen and lounge units (which had wiring in). Have now got EICR done, various C2 issues, all seem to be caused by them, including damaging the fusebox, leaving mains exposed and well as smashed sockets and extra lights they have put in badly.
I am obviously going to fix the issues ASAP (hoping to charge them at a later date), but can this cause a problem with a Sect 8 eviction, or even a Sect 21 ? They stopped paying their rent 3 months ago as well, claiming that the because the Gas Cert was delayed (their fault again for cancelling, then not telling me).
I am trying to get legal help as well, so any tips would be very helpful.
Cheers
Steve

I would have served notice the minute they ripped out the kitchen- assuming you had not given consent?  I would get a specialist eviction service onto this before you take any action. They sound like total nutjobs, but crafty with it.
