Hello,

My tenants are (hopefully!) about to move out and I'm planning on selling the property, however it does mean it's going to be unoccupied. My existing insurance will only cover it for 30 days but I'm going to need longer - can anyone recommend an insurer which will cover this? Ideally one that doesn't require weekly visits or similar.

Thanks

I've twice used Adrian Flux specialised broker while selling unoccupied houses.

They gave very helpful advice on the phone when I arranged the insurance.

I can't remember all the terms and conditions but I don't recall that they were hard to comply with.

There may have been things such as "Turn off electricity... unless it is required to keep the heating working (at a suitably low temperature) to prevent pipes freezing".
