Hi all my wife and her mother have their names on the deeds of the mothers house,her mother and father pay the mortgage,my wife's brothers name is not on the deeds but is older than her,her question is who would inherit the property.....50 50 older sibling etc thanks in advance

Surely they will all have made a will,your wife included ? The father would probably inherit the half share if he lives longer than his wife and she dies intestate..He could have some legal rights if he chose to contest things,as he pays half the mortgage. These are things that need to be sorted with a solicitor now.I don't think the age of siblings is a factor at all.
