I'm a lodger on a six month contract and i'd like to come out of the contract two months early. I will tell my landlord she can keep the deposit (which is more than one months rent) so financially, she won't be too impacted (i know she will get a replacement quickly!). She's very unreasonable, i'm wondering what legs actions she can take against me for leaving prior to the end of our agreement?

Your landlord may agree to this.However.she is entitled to insist on the full rent for the two months remaining. The deposit is meant to cover damage repairs,cleaning etc.if applicable. You will also presumably need a reference from her."Unreasonable" can mean different things to different people.Unless life is really unbearable I would be inclined to grit your teeth and stick it out for just a matter of weeks.
